Grandma and Grandpa Fillmore left on their 18 month service mission to Guatemala, for the LDS Church, about 2 months ago. As easter rolled around we were unsure if we should or shouldn't have the Easter get together. Everyone was busy with different things, and we had a hard time picking a date. Parker and Lark were coming to town with kids, so we decided that would be the best date to hold it. As we were driving over Benjamin said, "This seems really weird holding this Easter Party without the glue there." It took us like 10 minutes to get started, we were all kind of waiting for someone to assume charge and say the prayer, etc... Anyways, we ended up having a great get together & even started a new tradition. A money hunt for the older kids. The Big $20 egg was at the bottom of the pool, so Ethan gallantly stripped down and jumped in the freezing water for his unknown prize.
Anyways, Paul & Joanne were greatly missed, but their "glue" kept the tradition alive- and I guess, that kind of makes it like they were there. Traditions make memories, and memories make a difference. I'll upload a slide show.

Hey that was great. We loved seeing everyone together and keeping the tradition. It sounded like the big kids had a great time. I guess you have to do something to keep them coming. We love you all. Paul and Joanne
Thanks for the slide show. So mad I forgot my camera --been a rough week. Don't stay away so long, I love reading your blog updates.
Thanks April, I miss my camera, but if you are going to do such a great job, I'm in no hurry to fix it. The kids loved viewing it and we did have a great time.
Dude, for $20 I'd jump in the pool!
Great update! Loved those pictures. Happy (belated) Easter and General Conference weekend.
It looks like you're keeping the stickiness fresh over there. Keep it up because by the time us "out-of-staters" get there we'll want to feel its goodness.
Miss you guys lots!
Cute pics! It is nice to finally have a blog update!
